About three days after I got out of the army (farewell to the freaking 13-month compulsory military service!), I kind of got bored and began to think: Alright, Avery, now stop being unproductive.
Which, was why I started contacting translation agencies and publishing houses in the hope of getting a translation job offer.
Now, I’m working on a show called “How It Works,” translating its English caption into Chinese subtitles. Kind of like Discovery, it’s a show that introduces to you how things are designed or made. The case I’m working on at the moment, in fact, is about how Scotch Whiskey, toilets, and cream cheese are made.
Not very good pay, but should be fun!
